Bracket Play

If seeds are the same, a coin flip will determine home team.

If a game is not completed due to rain or other circumstances, it will revert back to the last completed inning.

No time limit for championship games, unless there are more games to be played after the championship game on that field.

Time limit for championship games that have scheduled game to follow on that field, will be 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Tournament Rules

Rules may change upon certain circumstances

Tournament must reach semifinal or finals for rings / medals - to which the higher seed will be rewarded or if a game is in progress last completed inning on case of rain outs.

If a team leaves and the team that they are scheduled to play is willing to play - that team will be granted the win.

Players can not play for multiple roster in the game age division

All age divisions teams can play with 8 players and take an out -- Coach pitch teams can play with 8 players, and it will not be an out

Pool play games can end in a tie once the time limit is up.

Tournament tie breakers are followed in this order; overall record, head to head, runs allowed, coin flip.

6U - 12U age divisions will have a 6 run limit per inning during pool play games.

6U - 9U divisions during bracket tournament games, will have a limit of 6 runs per inning.

Teams must hit their own baseballs.

Home team is official book.

No illegal bats are to be used at any time during events; bats must be stamped and approved per USSSA rules.

Players can slide head or feet first.

One warning per team on throwing bat - next bat thrown results with an out or possible ejection.

Courtesy runner for all divisions - the last recorded out if there are no subs available - courtesy runner can only run 1 time per inning.

Tournament format is and always will be, unless informed, 2 pool play games with single elimination.

Teams cannot add more than two players for Sunday tournament day, unless approved by director.

Metal cleats can not be worn on temporary mounds.

Malicious hits on the catcher is an automatic ejection. Player running must try to avoid collision and the decision is made by the umpire.

Game time will begin immediately after umpires meet with coaches at the plate meet. Coaches and umpire will go by their watch / phone on the time and round up and the home plate umpire will yell out start time.

5 Inning games - no time limit

No infield fly rule

5 pitches, 3 strikes, last pitch fouled - continue to the next pitch

Courtesy runner for the catcher

Teams with only 9 players must play with pitcher and catcher

6 runs per inning max

Pitching Coach is hit by batted ball it will be a do over

Teams batting full line up - free subbing

If team bats full line up they will not be punished for a sick/injured player - they will be skipped over in line up

9U 10U

5 inning games - 1 hour and 20 minute time limit

10U 46/65 pitching is the same as 10U 46/60 - All other KHSAA Rules

9U 10U 

8 inning pitching for the weekend - can not pitch more than 3 innings on Saturday to be eligible to pitch on Sunday 

6 runs per inning max for pool play - tournament play is open for 10U

11U 12U

5 Inning games - 1 hour and 20 minute time limit

8 inning pitching for the weekend - can not pitch more than 3 innings on Saturday to be eligible to pitch on Sunday

11U 12U

6 runs per inning max in pool play,          15 after 2 -- 12 after 3 -- 10 after 4, tournament play
